House of Influence

Looking for a bit of drama and intrigue? How about a dash more tension at court? The excitement starts as soon as the unidice is rolled at the beginning of the game to sort you in two different houses. You'll find yourself in either a noble house, representing the majority, or a vassal house, representing the minority. Your allegiance to either a noble or vassal house will profoundly shape the narrative. However, revealing your true self will undoubtedly have dire consequences, so discretion is key!

But here's the intriguing twist - while players from the majority are left in the dark, those of the minority enjoy a sneaky advantage. Thanks to the unidice, they'll know exactly which players belong to their team from the get-go. It's up to them to use this intel to their advantage and outmaneuver their opponents.

As the game progresses, players will have a total of six different roles to choose from, each with its own unique abilities to help your house gain the upper hand. But be strategic - each turn, only two roles will be available, and you'll need to choose wisely. There might be a role thats ability could turn the tide of the game, while the other one will have pretty mediocre effects.

To select your role, simply double-tap on one the roles shown on the unidice display, and follow the instructions to utilize its unique advantages. But beware to not forget to keep your house a secret by turning the unidice upside down before passing it on and most of all do not loose a word about it.

As the game draws to a close, the final round will reveal which house has gained the most influence points (IP). Keep in mind that throughout the game, you'll have the chance to assess your current influence points every other round. Additionally, endeavor to keep track of each player's influence tally. This allows you to discern potential alliances and manipulations. For instance, as a diplomat, you can allocate influence points to another player. Should you observe this, it's probable that both the diplomat and the recipient hail from the same house. Or could it be a clever ploy?
